Secure Access to Applications

PasswordBank provides Single Sign-On (SSO) for all web and non-web resources and applications. Once a user has identified himself or herself to the PasswordBank server, no further application layer authentication is needed to access secured resources.

Secure Access to Applications

PasswordBank gives an organization flexibility to make use of a broad set of authentication mechanisms for deployment. Out of the box support is provided for many types of authentication schemes including:

  • Username / Password
  • LDAP directories
  • X.509v3 digital certificates
  • Windows Domain Authentication.
  • Tokens
  • SmartCards
  • Biometric devices

Further, due to its open and flexible architecture, PasswordBank software supports the use of Pluggable Authentication Modules (PAMs), including those for Windows ( Credential Providers for Windows 7 and GINA for Windows XP) for implementing custom authentication and authorization services that meet the needs of your organization.
